Great to meet you!

Are you looking for a psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or mood disorders? You don’t have to navigate this alone. I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, burned out, emotionally stuck, or unheard—often while juggling work, relationships, family responsibilities, or major life transitions. I’m Dr. Rachel Kigano, DNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing evidence-based psychiatric care for adults.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD, mood disorders, grief, and substance use concerns. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and personalized. Medication management is never rushed or one-size-fits-all, and when appropriate I focus on simplifying medications and reducing side effects.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s been going on, your symptoms, prior treatment, and what you want to feel different. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that fits your values, goals, and daily life. At Ania-Ra Psychiatry, you don’t need to minimize your pain—I partner with you to support sustainable, meaningful healing.
