Great to meet you!

Reaching out for help takes courage, and I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, supported, and respected. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, or the effects of past experiences, my goal is to help you feel less alone and more empowered to move forward.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, I have spent many years working with adults facing a wide range of emotional and life challenges. Throughout my career, I have provided individual, family, and group counseling in outpatient, community-based, and trauma-informed settings. I have helped clients learn to manage overwhelming worry, cope with depression, navigate major life transitions, build healthier relationships, and develop a stronger sense of self-worth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe that every person has unique strengths, even during life's most difficult moments. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical coping strategies, and build on your existing skills to create meaningful and lasting change. I draw from trauma-informed and evidence-based practices while tailoring therapy to meet your specific needs, goals, and life experiences.

In addition to providing direct counseling, I have supervised clinicians, conducted diagnostic assessments, developed treatment plans, and worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to support individuals from diverse backgrounds. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the many ways stress, trauma, anxiety, and depression can affect daily life.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel safe to explore challenges, gain insight, and discover new possibilities for healing and growth. You do not have to face life's struggles on your own. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward greater well-being, confidence, and balance.
