Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rachel Leonard, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky & Ohio. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready to move past just managing life and into actually rebuilding it — whether that's healing from trauma, finding your footing after addiction recovery, understanding a new ADHD or autism diagnosis, navigating a big life transition, or carrying the weight of ministry or missionary work.

I currently accept Aetna, Cigna & Carelon insurance, so most of your session cost may be covered depending on your plan.

If any of this sounds like where you are, I'd love to help. Reach out and let's talk about whether we're a good fit.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I draw on trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and neurodiversity-affirming methods, along with family systems work, to help you understand not just what happened, but who you are now and who you're becoming. I also offer faith-integrated care for clients who want it woven into our work — it's never assumed, and clients of every background and belief are welcome.

What you can expect from me

Before your first full session, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation — a chance to say hello, ask questions, and get a feel for whether this seems like a good fit before committing to anything further.

Your first full session is about getting to know each other: what brought you here, a bit of your story, and what you hope will be different on the other side. No pressure to have it all figured out — just come as you are.
