Great to meet you!

I’m an Ivy League-trained clinical psychologist with 25+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. As a former research scientist at New York Presbyterian, Columbia University, I contributed to studies on effective treatments for various mental health challenges. This experience allows me to tailor treatment to your needs. I specialize in depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use, OCD, and helping those who feel life could be better.

My approach to therapy

I believe that when people feel truly understood, they’re able to make the positive changes they want in their lives. There's nothing inherently wrong with anyone—often, our behaviors are attempts to navigate complex challenges. I work with you to understand yourself more clearly, gain new perspectives, and make decisions that are right for you. The right therapeutic relationship can create real transformation, and I’m here to support you in finding that.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave each session feeling that they've gained something beneficial, whether it’s a sense of lightness, freedom, or clarity. I create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered to make decisions that align with their values. Together, we work to identify patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence. The goal is for every session to move you closer to lasting, positive change in your life
