Great to meet you!

Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Texas and Missouri, receiving her Master of Social Work degree from Saint Louis University. She has several years of experience providing therapy to children, teens, and adults. She specializes in anxiety, trauma, attachment, parenting, and relationship challenges. Additionally, she has completed the 72-hour Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) and has a great deal of experience working with the foster and adoptive communities.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is a blend of process-oriented dialogue and practical skill-building. I seek to balance the deep, introspective work of therapy with humor and compassion. I recognize that I will never know more about my clients than they know about themselves, so I enter each session with curiosity, humility, and the intent to offer guidance while empowering clients to make the changes they wish to see in their lives.

What you can expect from me

I’m so happy you’re here! Whether you’ve been to therapy before or this is your first time, seeking support and finding a therapist can feel daunting. Knowing this, it is my mission to create a therapeutic environment in which you feel safe doing the challenging work of self-exploration.
