Great to meet you!

I know starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not quite sure where to begin or how to put what you’re feeling into words. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are and feel comfortable being yourself.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, and the general feeling of being stuck or overwhelmed. I especially enjoy working with young adults who are trying to figure out who they are, what they want, and how to navigate all the changes that come with adulthood.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and pretty down-to-earth. I don’t believe therapy should feel like you’re talking to someone who is just taking notes and occasionally asking, “How does that make you feel?” I want our sessions to feel like a real conversation while still helping you move toward the things that matter to you.

I primarily work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective, which means we’ll focus on understanding your thoughts and emotions without letting them completely run the show. I also incorporate parts work and other approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. We’ll work together to notice patterns, understand where they come from, and find ways to respond differently.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, what has been going on in your life, and what you’re hoping might feel different as a result of our work together.

You don’t need to come in knowing exactly what you want to work on or have your whole story figured out. We can sort through that together. I also want you to have space to ask me questions and get a feel for whether I’m the right therapist for you. By the end, we’ll have a better idea of what you’d like to focus on and where we can start.
