Great to meet you!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in WA. Over the last 20 years I have worked with kids, teens, adults and families in public school and community settings to support their mental health. I specialize in working with Educators and other helping professionals experiencing burnout in their work. In addition, I specialize in supporting adults, teens (13+) and families experiencing Grief & Loss.

My approach to therapy

I approach clients with genuine curiosity and compassion. My goal is to create a safe container for you to express whatever you need to, no matter how hard, or sad or dark, without fear of judgement.

I bring my authentic self to my work with clients. In session you can expect empathetic listening, gentle challenging, unwavering support and lots of wondering, along with some light swearing and occasional sarcasm.

What you can expect from me

Therapy takes time to really shift how you feel and function. Yet, you are here because you are hoping for relief now. My goal is that each client leaves each session with a new insight about a situation or a new tool or strategy to help create moments of relief along the way. Outside of the session is where the shifting actually happens and so I regularly offer suggestions for optional "homework" that will help you move closer to your goals.
