Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have over 20 years of experience with individuals, couples, families, children and teens. I have conducted in-home therapy, in-person therapy, and teletherapy. While I have worked with a variety of mental health issues over the years, I primarily focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes in general, parenting, and marital issues.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as what drives best outcomes, along with the client working on their goals outside of the therapy sessions. We work together to solve problems in life as well as build trust. I am here to listen, validate, encourage, support, guide, and walk with my client's on their life's journeys!

What you can expect from me

Clients often feel better after the first session by simply being able to talk about their concerns and receiving validation. You can expect this validation from me in all sessions. I meet you where you are, but also use gentle challenges to thinking and can sometimes ask tough questions to get you to think deeper. I provide information about your diagnosis, symptoms, and coping skills, as well as encouragement, support, and challenge of thoughts/feelings to help move you through the change process and reach your goals.
