Great to meet you!

Seeking support takes courage, and I believe healing begins in a safe, trusting, and nonjudgmental relationship. Using a client-centered approach, I meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your mental health journey.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges, with a special passion for supporting first responders, caregivers, educators, and other helping professionals.

Drawing on over 25 years in law enforcement and my experience as a school counselor, I combine real-world understanding with evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, DBT, ERP, and Motivational Interviewing. My goal is to help you feel heard, build practical skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe healing is a journey, not a destination, and I strive to meet each client where they are with acceptance, empathy, and respect. Together, we'll identify your strengths, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you move toward the life you want to live.

I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Motivational Interviewing. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to your unique needs, goals, and experiences.

Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, stress, or a major life transition, my goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting, supportive relationship. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, and identify your goals for treatment. I'll also take time to learn about your strengths, values, and experiences so I can better understand your unique story.

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where you feel heard and respected. Together, we'll begin creating a personalized treatment plan and discuss practical strategies to help you start moving toward meaningful change. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling understood, hopeful, and confident that you don't have to navigate your mental health journey alone.
