Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s an act of courage and the first step toward healing. Congratulations on taking that step.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience, I specialize in Reproductive and Maternal Mental Health, holding advanced perinatal certification from Postpartum Support International. My journey into grief and loss began as an Oncology Social Worker, and supporting individuals and families through profound loss has become both a privilege and a calling. I also have extensive experience working with survivors of family violence, sexual assault, and incest.

In addition, I help parents strengthen communication and relationships with their adult children, fostering deeper understanding and connection.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As your therapist, I will support you every step of the way. You deserve the space to process your feelings at your own pace. I will guide you, help you cultivate self-compassion, challenge you to recognize your strengths, and assist you in developing healthy coping strategies. You can trust that our work together will take place in a safe, nurturing, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your emotions, thoughts, choices, and behaviors with understanding and care.

What you can expect from our first session

Your experiences are uniquely yours, and you deserve care that reflects your individual needs. In our work together, we’ll build a collaborative partnership, where open communication and mutual respect are key. I’ll be here to listen, challenge, and support you throughout your journey.

The connection we create is essential to the therapeutic process. Feeling comfortable and safe with me is important, as honesty and vulnerability are vital to meaningful growth. Sharing difficult emotions can be painful, but true change comes from trusting the process. In our work together, you’ll have a safe, empathetic space to explore your experiences, release both positive and negative emotions, and gain clarity on sources of conflict and confusion.
