Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rachel McKeon, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Connecticut. I work with kids 8 and up, couples, families, and individuals, and I bring a warm, person-centered approach to every session. My goal is simple: to give you a soft place to land, space to show up as yourself, and relief from whatever it is you're carrying.

My approach to therapy

My approach is a blend of CBT/DBT skills, person-centered, solution-focused, and strength-based styles. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so sessions are shaped around what you need, whether that's building coping skills, working through family or relationship dynamics, or simply having a compassionate space to process what's going on. However we work together, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you feel truly heard.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other so I can understand what brought you to therapy and what you're hoping to get out of it. I'll ask you questions to explore what's going on and where I can be of help. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. You can expect a judgment-free space where you're free to be yourself and start working toward making your life one that you enjoy.
