Hello! I am happy that you're here and taking the first step to improving your mental health.
I specialize in issues related to anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma and abuse, and relationship or work-related issues. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy and EMDR (an effective psychotherapy technique that helps to reduce trauma symptoms).
We will discuss what issues are most important to you so I can learn how to tailor my approach to help you most effectively. During therapy sessions, I offer compassion, empathy, creativity, and humor when appropriate. Above all, my goal is to create a safe, non judgmental space where you will feel heard and respected.
