Great to meet you!

I love helping a person become the best version of themselves, My strategies flop them find hope and to become powerful people with tangible and deep changes in how they feel and in their beliefs about themselves so that they can live a life of joy and fulfillment.

I have a beautiful space in an art studio that helps people feel safe and comfortable with a professional, but less clinical feel.. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work in 1993, have taught at the University level, and have extensive experience in treating eating disorders and addictions, trauma, anxiety and depression.

My approach to therapy

Most of us find that we know what she "should do" and yet still tend to repeat the same unhelpful or destructive patterns in our lives. We want to do better, but struggle to act differently.

My methods focus beyond the "knowing" or advice giving, and invite a client to connect more deeply inside, in order to more deeply understand the true blocks to their progress, and to gain the self compassion, insight, and strength to change their patterns from the inside out.

Using IFS, Somatic awareness, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, as primary methods, clients often start feeling better and more hopeful within 2-3 sessions.

What you can expect from me

I spend the first session getting to know the client's history and working together to establish therapy target areas so that we have a clear picture of what the client most desires from the therapy experience.
