Great to meet you!

With over 25 years in the mental health field and a decade in private practice, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating the heavy intersections of chronic medical conditions, grief, and significant trauma. I partner with clients who have a history of cancer and provide much needed support. My background as a Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CODP) allows me to offer specialized care for those facing both mental health challenges and substance use issues, particularly when these arise alongside medical battles like cancer. I am also deeply committed to integrating faith as a protective factor for clients who wish to explore their spirituality as a source of resilience and hope during life's most difficult adjustments.

My approach to therapy

I provide a compassionate, client-centered space where we can address both the clinical and soulful aspects of your journey. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a deep understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection. Whether you are processing a recent diagnosis, walking through a season of loss, or navigating a major life transition, I work to honor your unique story and values. For clients of faith, I am open to incorporating spiritual principles and practices into our work to help foster deeper healing and meaning. I apply a combination of DBT, MBS, CBT, and MI. My clients often find the use of Tapping and Holographic Therapy minimize the influence that traumatic memories have on healing.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a partner who is both clinically seasoned and spiritually attuned. We will work together to build practical coping strategies for managing chronic stress and medical uncertainty, while also making space for the profound questions of 'why' and 'how' that often accompany grief and trauma. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and more equipped to move through your challenges with a renewed sense of purpose.
