Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Rachel and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my degrees from the University of Tampa and Florida State University. I have 5+ years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, active duty servicemen and women and Veterans, as they navigate life's challenges and transitions. I am happy to incorporate faith into the work I do with my clients if they would like.

I am an EMDRIA Trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Clinician. I also draw from attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and psychodynamic principles.

My approach to therapy

I believe that our experiences shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. I am passionate about helping clients better understand their stories, heal from difficult experiences, and build lives that feel meaningful, fulfilling and authentic.

My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to each individual. Above all, I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, understood and valued. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and that lasting growth and healing are possible with the right support.

Whether you are struggling with past experiences, feeling stuck in the present or are uncertain about the future, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first couple sessions, I want to get to know you and what's most important to you! I believe that the best outcomes occur when my clients feel safe, valued, and free enough to be themselves. That means following where you lead. I want to know your goals, potential concerns about the process, and what you hope to get from our work together. The foundation of our work is trust and open and honest communication, and I strive to begin laying this foundation from the moment we meet.
