Great to meet you!

I believe the magic of therapy lives in the ordinary moments when you realize that something within you has shifted.

Hello, my name is Rachel. I specialize in struggles with addiction, relationships, parenting, difficult transitional periods, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I recognize that finding a new therapist can be stressful, and I offer a free constulation call so we can determine if working together feels right for you.

At its core, my role is to be a steady, supportive presence in your life. I take trust seriously and understand that it’s something that’s built over time, not assumed. I will always honor your autonomy and support your right to make your own decisions.

Therapy can be a place to learn new skills and gain insight, but the real work happens when you leave the session and step back into your life. You and I are practicing for that.

My clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating addiction and building sustainable sobriety, as well as supporting children, families, and adults in outpatient community settings. I’ve also worked with clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including mood, thought, and personality disorders.

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, I moved to Phoenix a few years ago to expand my horizons. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Secondary Education from Louisiana State University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of New Orleans.

Outside of work, you can usually find me at the gym, playing volleyball (poorly), spending time with friends, planning my next trip, or convincing myself I don’t need to buy something. I also have a cat named Mowgli, who keeps me humble.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, sometimes educational, and always encouraging. At the end of the day, we are humans making sense of complex life experiences, and there’s nothing unusual about needing support in that process. I pay close attention to your strengths and help you use them in ways that bring you closer to the life you want to be living.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that we share some laughs and that you leave feeling seen and valued in a way that stays with you beyond our time together.
