Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rachel Richard! With over 25 years of experience as a licensed counselor, I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, depression, and the impact of trauma, as well as to navigate life's everyday challenges. I hold a Master's Degree in Community/Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and I am currently licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

My approach to therapy

I am dedicated to providing evidence-based practices that empower people to manage their emotions, change unhelpful thought patterns, successfully navigate life changes, enhance self-esteem, and actively work toward achieving their goals. My approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, with specialties in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Additionally, for those interested in a holistic approach, I incorporate Somatic Therapy to connect mind and body.

What you can expect from me

I offer a safe space where everyone is treated with compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach. My goal is for everyone to leave each session feeling hopeful, empowered, and equipped with the tools they need to confidently face life's challenges.
