Great to meet you!

I'm a board certified psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, parents, and adults to help treat emotional difficulties.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach starts with a thoughtful and thorough evaluation. I'm interested in hearing about about your strengths, vulnerabilities, what you've tried in the past, and what you think might be helpful. I'll also give you my recommendations, and together we can work on making a plan that both meets your needs and is medically sound.

What you can expect from our first session

The goal of medication management is to help make symptoms (distressing feelings) more manageable. The goal of psychotherapy is to understand why such distressing feelings occur in the first place and to become better able to regulate them.
