Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rachel. I hold a bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition Management from ASU and a master’s in Licensed Professional Counseling from GCU. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in community mental health, supporting at-risk youth and families. Since then, I’ve provided care in both private practice and agency settings, helping people create lives that feel more balanced and meaningful.

I bring a mix of creative and evidence-based tools to the work I do. My training includes Sand Tray therapy, Inner Child work, mindfulness, and other approaches that help clients explore and understand themselves more fully. I try to create a space that feels warm, real, and supportive—where you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.

My approach to therapy

I support clients who are in seasons of change and growth—especially those who struggle with being overly self-critical. This can include perfectionism, body image concerns, or feeling directionless. My style is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. I meet clients where they are while gently helping them challenge unhelpful patterns. I also value cultural sensitivity and aim to help clients reconnect with themselves and move forward with clarity and self-trust.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help clients build a more compassionate relationship with themselves while creating lives that feel aligned and intentional. We often work on increasing self-awareness, reducing self-criticism, strengthening boundaries, and making space for rest, joy, and connection. I aim to create an environment that feels grounded, supportive, and culturally inclusive—where clients can show up as they are and feel safe exploring both challenges and grow!
