Great to meet you!

I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner doctorally trained at the University of Utah, with eight years of mental healthcare experience including a year-long fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.

I primarily work with children and teens, but also love meeting with young adults, parents, and fellow healthcare workers.

Outside of work, I love spending time in the mountains with my husband, son and very hyper dog.

My approach to therapy

I believe people are inherently good. Feelings are signals, not problems to be solved. Big behaviors are often the result of unmet needs.

I help identify those needs and educate using age-appropriate language. We work together to formulate goals based on your values-- always mindful of safety, developmental milestones, and impact on the family system.

What you can expect from me

I complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and recommend evidence-based care, including medication options, lifestyle adjustments, specific therapeutic approaches, and potential academic accommodations.
