Great to meet you!

I believe that everyone has the ability to heal and grow. Therapy can help you identify and leverage your strengths as well as learn new ways to feel more grounded and understood. I have experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, and trauma as well as with couples looking to heal from infidelity or simply improve their relationship. I also practice Christian counseling for those who are looking to integrate their faith in therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I work with individuals and couples to navigate life’s challenges, better understand their emotions, and build healthier relationships. Using solution-focused therapy, we will explore what is already working, identify your strengths, and set realistic goals while finding practical steps toward change. Through Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help clients explore different parts of themselves, understand the emotions and experiences behind their reactions, and develop greater self-compassion. In couples therapy, I incorporate the Gottman Method through communication exercises, exploring relationship patterns, and practicing skills for managing conflict and strengthening emotional connection. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard and understood as we work together toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an intake appointment, typically lasting about 55 minutes, and can take place via video or in person. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, welcomed, and heard as we begin getting to know one another. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current challenges and strengths, and talk about what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and what has or hasn’t been helpful in the past, while giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you and discuss how we can work together to move toward them. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll take things one step at a time.
