Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed professional counselor based in Philadelphia, PA, working exclusively via telehealth. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, women's mental health, ADHD, and the complicated dynamics that follow domestic violence or abusive relationships. I also work with people navigating depression, anger, identity shifts, and the kind of stress that doesn't respond to a good night's sleep or a vacation. My clients tend to be adults who are smart, self-aware, and tired of white-knuckling their way through life. They often know a lot about what's wrong — they've read the books, they've tried a few things — but they haven't found something that actually moves the needle. That's what I focus on: getting underneath the patterns that keep repeating.I accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Anthem, and others, which means care that doesn't require a financial sacrifice on top of everything else you're managing.

My approach to therapy

I work in an integrative way — meaning I don't follow one rigid protocol, but I draw from approaches with a strong track record for the things my clients bring. For trauma and PTSD, I pull from trauma-informed and somatic frameworks. For anxiety and ADHD, I lean into cognitive-behavioral and skills-based methods. For the deeper relational and identity work, I use a more exploratory, psychodynamic lens.I'm direct without being blunt. I'll tell you what I'm noticing, offer honest perspectives, and challenge patterns that aren't serving you — but always with care and at a pace that feels manageable. I believe therapy should create real change, not just a place to vent. Most people leave sessions with something concrete they didn't have when they walked in.

What you can expect from me

Come as you are. You don't need to have a clear explanation of what's wrong or know exactly what you're hoping for. The first session is a conversation — I'll ask you about what's been going on, what's brought you here now, and what you'd like to be different. I'll tell you what I'm thinking and whether I believe I can help. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of what working together would look like and whether it feels like the right fit. There's no pressure to commit to anything in that first hour. My goal is that you leave feeling genuinely heard and a little clearer — not overwhelmed or like you have homework due next week.
