Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Rachel!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington. I obtained a Masters Degree in Counseling in 2015 and have been working full time in the field since. I am a compassion and trauma focused therapist and enjoy working with a variety of different clients and issues. I am a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA affirming therapist. I belong to, and strive to be a safe place for persons of these communities.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I draw from many modalities of treatment depending on your presenting concern. I tend to favor "parts work" or Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness and EMDR because I see a lot of transformation come from these forms of therapy. I also believe that the relationship with your therapist, (feeling respected, understood, and cared for), is the backbone to any good therapy.

What you can expect from me

In my work with clients, I tend to see them feeling more connected to and accepting of themselves as well as feeling less emotionally burdened and in turn noticing more energy in their lives.
