Great to meet you!

Hey you! Are you ready to take the next step? Are you seeking to change some things about yourself? Maybe you want to create healthier habits or learn new behaviors. You’ve made it this far, and that’s major! Following the humanistic and holistic framework, I approach each session with compassion and care. I believed in collaborating and developing a plan that works for you. Have you experienced trauma and are you looking for a clinician that understands the complexities of trauma and how it shows up in your body? You’ve come to the right place. Allow me to walk alongside you on your journey from knowing to doing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in counseling working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups. I provide therapy online anywhere in Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Tennessee. I’ve earned a Baccalaureate in Social Work from Rust College in MS, and a Master of Social Work from Union University. I am active in community organizations that encompass all fields of social work specific to advocating for under-resourced families. In 2017, I received intensive play therapy training at the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Education in Baltimore, MD, and I am now fully certified as a Registered Play Therapist with the Association for Play Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

If you're interested in collaborating together, the first step is to talk with me to find out if we will be a match. We'll explore together what your needs are, and determine if you would like to proceed to care. Typically, in our first session, we'll get to know each other, talk about your story (if you're comfortable or not), and we'll talk about developing a plan. I look forward to hearing from you.
