Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in diverse settings, including private practice, schools, hospitals, clinics, and community-based programs. I have a BA in English from Davidson College and an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work. In addition to my clinical work, I provide supervision for master’s-level therapists, teach graduate-level courses, and consult with multidisciplinary treatment teams.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked with individuals, families, and couples. I have extensive experience supporting clients navigating complex trauma, depression, anxiety, grief/bereavement, neurodivergence, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy

I’m passionate about helping clients grow in ways that are grounded in self-acceptance and compassion. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns and beliefs that keep you stuck. I’ll help you clarify your core values and develop practical skills to live more fully in alignment with them.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based care and tailored to each person’s unique needs and preferences. I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as psychodynamic and narrative approaches. I am committed to opposing oppression in all forms, rejecting pathologizing frameworks, combating racism, and providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

What you can expect from me

I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore different parts of yourself and build on your existing strengths. In our first session together, I’ll learn more about you, answer any questions you have, and identify your hopes and goals for therapy.

Please note: Friday times are currently only available for rescheduling for exiting clients. I am currently not taking new clients, but please let me know if you’d like to be added to my waitlist.
