Great to meet you!

I enjoy being part of a client's process of learning ways to make their life work and help them feel good about themselves. I have psychiatric, educational, and life experience of 20 years in the field. This is dynamic counseling involving new tool and ways to look at situations. The 60 minutes session will give you at least one tool to help you do your life in a different way. Then we refine tools the next week. Goal setting and review will be part of your therapy work.

My approach to therapy

I tailor make your therapy to you. We will use the tried and tested techniques of CBT, DBT, 12 steps, Bibliotherapy and Transpersonal psychology if you are interested in these techniques.. Depression and anxiety screen can be provided as part of your therapy. Role play and empty chair techniques are also available.

What you can expect from me

60 minutes of engaged therapy with a take away that you and I create, so you can practice a new techniques or behavior between sessions. You will get a new tool every week, and have a tool belt of techniques when you leave therapy for good. Oh yes, we will talk about feeling and some past patterns!
