Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Rachel Childers. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor here in Texas. I utilize CBT, SFBT, and Trauma Therapy techniques to help my clients find hope in what they may be going through. I specialize in working with adolescents, parents, and women issues. My clients might be living with anxiety, depression, or struggling with a major life transitions such as postpartum, work life balance, family/relationship conflict, or school challenges to name a few.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic relationship will include a warm, empathetic treatment approach where the focus is on meeting you where you are and working to have a clear understanding of your goals and ambitions. Together we will explore the depth of what's behind the challenge in your life, while becoming self-aware and learning skills that nurture and benefit your life.

What you can expect from our first session

Our first meeting together will be an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
