Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Dr. Rachel, PsyD. I am a Clinical Psychologist, practicing for 10 years in NY. I specialize in working with families, parenting issues, maternal mental health, childhood trauma, grief, depression, and life adjustments. I believe the key to improving mental health comes from healing lifelong and even intergenerational patterns of stress, trauma.

My approach to therapy

I am an engaging, relational clinician, so I don't just listen and nod my head, but rather, ask questions, provide guidance, and respond in a empathetic and culturally sensitive manner. I tailor treatment to meet your needs and work with you to help you achieve the growth you want and become a more functional individual.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a time for us to see if we vibe. I will ask questions about your or your child's history, and give you an opportunity to share your story. It's important you feel comfortable being open, honest, and that you have confidence in moving forward with therapy.
