Great to meet you!

I offer a warm, and nonjudgmental presence to explore anxiety, depression, feelings of stuckness as well as other feelings you may be encountering. I’ll help you realize or re-find strengths that empower you to make changes. As a person-centered therapist, I believe you already have what you need to heal. I’ll support you in uncovering how your past or self-limiting thoughts are influencing current relationships and behaviors.

My approach to therapy

I use modalities such as CBT and DBT flexibly along with a strength-based focus. Besides working with individuals, I support families with trans or gender nonconforming children, helping them to navigate unsupportive schools or to work on their own internal resistance to full acceptance of their child.

What you can expect from me

Drawing on 20 years of meditation and mindfulness practices to ground sessions, I create a safe space for self-acceptance and change. I am mindful that none of us lives in a vacuum, that we’re all affected by the systems we live within that both support and oppress us. I’m attuned to how systemic racism, sexism, trans- and homophobia impact our lives.
