Great to meet you!

Hello All, My Name is Rachel Yee I'm a Licenensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) So what is this therapy stuff anyway? To me and I’ve been doing it for around 20 years, Therapy is time spent talking about what you want to talk about with someone who listens —to hear— with their ears, eyes, and heart just to you.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Now the question is— What do you need me for? Well, I come in handy because as we get to know one another the therapy relationship, unlike any other, is a place for you to grow, be seen, and learn about you in a safe environment to help you —help yourself. I’m here to help you learn how to fish so you eat for life, not just serve you a meal you’ll enjoy for a day.

I have worked on women and adoption issues. I’ve worked with adolescent, college age, young adults as well as the LGBTQIA+ Community.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is you will know what was always true, the answer was always in you. All you needed was a person to walk with you, supporting and guiding through helpful curiosity, questions, maybe a few tears (after-all honesty is the best policy here) thoughts, and some of the best medicine laughter— because who can resist a giggle or two

I welcome you and am at your service.

Sincerely,

Rachel Yee, LMHC
