Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience counseling individuals and families, I bring a depth of knowledge of common internal and relational struggles and evidence based interventions, including EMDR, CBT, DBT and other individual and family therapy modalities. I am certified in EMDR therapy, PCIT, EAGALA and TeleMental Health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is to support clients in breaking free from unhealthy patterns such as out-of-control emotions, self-defeating thoughts, behavior patterns, relationship cycles and in moving beyond past hurts and traumatic experiences. Clients are provided a supportive environment in which they can heal from past hurts, gain control of emotions and develop new ways of thinking and relating to others.

What you can expect from our first session

Most important to me is to provide a safe space in which clients feel seen and heard. From this place, we begin to identify any problematic patterns in thoughts and behaviors and learn to adapt new, healthier ways of being. We will also identify the role of any unresolved trauma and work to integrate these memories with decreased emotional reactivity and increased positive beliefs about self. If spirituality is important in your life, we will incorporate your beliefs into this therapy process.
