Great to meet you!

You've always been capable. The systems around you weren't built for you.

I'm Rachelle Goldenberg, LCSW — a licensed clinical social worker, neuroaffirming therapist, and, as of a few years ago, a late-diagnosed AuDHD adult. That last part matters.

I've spent over 26 years working in this field and in clinical research around neurotypes. But the thing that shapes how I practice isn't just my training — it's knowing firsthand what it's like to spend most of your life feeling like you're failing at something everyone else finds easy.

At Swift Mind Care, I work with adults navigating ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences, and the quiet grief of a late diagnosis. If you've spent years wondering why the world felt so much harder for you than it seemed to for others — you're in the right place.

My approach to therapy

My approach is highly collaborative and strength-focused, rooted in the belief that neurodivergent experiences—such as Autism (Level 1), ADHD, and AuDHD—are not problems to be "fixed." Instead, we work together to build sustainable, personalized strategies that honor how your brain naturally functions.

I provide dedicated support for trauma, PTSD, and the cumulative impact of chronic, high-stress living. My practice also serves those navigating the complexities of anxiety, depression, and the unique challenges of identity exploration in a world that can often feel unwelcoming.

Areas of Focus:

• Neurodivergence (Autism Level 1, AuDHD, ADHD)

  • • Trauma, PTSD, and First Responder support
  • • Gender & cultural identity exploration/affirmation
  • • Executive functioning and workplace stress management
  • • Neurofeedback training (Certified Myndlift Provider)

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a collaborative space where we will explore your reasons for seeking support, determine if we are a good therapeutic match, and begin mapping out your journey. We will work together to identify your individual needs and establish a clear plan for your care to ensure our work is meaningful and effective.

One-on-one sessions (+-50 min) in-person or via telehealth. Neuroaffirming by design — no pathologizing, no forced coping scripts. We work with how your brain actually functions, building insight and practical skills that genuinely fit your life.
