Great to meet you!

I believe that every person already possesses the capacity for healing, even if life experiences have made that difficult to access. My role is to help you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have become overwhelmed, disconnected, or forgotten.

As a licensed and board-certified Creative Arts Therapist with nearly a decade of experience, I've worked with children, adults and young adults across community mental health, inpatient treatment, and private practice. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions.

I also understand that no two people heal in the same way. Some clients process through conversation, while others benefit from incorporating creativity, body awareness, mindfulness, or experiential techniques. Together, we'll find an approach that feels authentic to you and supports the way you naturally make sense of your experiences.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy through a holistic, trauma-informed, and relational lens. My work is rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, helping clients understand how earlier relationships and life experiences continue to shape present emotions, behaviors, and patterns.

I also integrate expressive arts, somatic awareness, AEDP, parts work, and mindfulness to support healing on both emotional and physical levels. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, I believe lasting change happens when we develop a deeper relationship with ourselves—learning to understand our emotions, listen to our bodies, and approach difficult experiences with greater compassion instead of judgment.

Therapy is a collaborative process. I don't believe in offering quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I work alongside my clients to create meaningful, sustainable change that reflects their unique values, goals, and strengths.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. Rather than feeling like an interview, I hope it feels like the beginning of a conversation. I'll want to understand what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping will be different, and what has helped—or not helped—you in the past.

We'll also explore your relationships, life experiences, and strengths to begin building a fuller picture of who you are beyond the challenges you're facing. Together, we'll identify goals that feel meaningful to you and discuss how therapy can support them.

My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a growing sense that healing doesn't require having all the answers—it begins with having a safe place to become curious about yourself.
