Great to meet you!

I’m Raevin Wade, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps people put words to the things they’ve been carrying. I have a special interest in women’s mental health and support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship patterns, identity, and major life transitions.

I especially enjoy working with clients who are beginning to recognize how past experiences, family dynamics, or emotionally unavailable caregivers may be affecting their relationships and sense of self today. I also welcome clients of all gender identities and backgrounds.

My goal is to create a warm, affirming space where you can be honest without judgment, better understand yourself, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, empowering, and honest. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while also being gently challenged to grow.

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative approaches, and trauma-informed techniques, tailoring our work to your goals, culture, and lived experience. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns that may be affecting you while building practical tools for moving forward.

You don’t have to change who you are to create a different life. My goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, build on your strengths, and make choices that feel more aligned with the person you want to become.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your experiences, relationships, current supports, and what you hope will be different through therapy.

You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. I’ll explain how I work, answer your questions, and make sure you understand the therapy process.

By the end of our first session, we’ll begin identifying your goals and where you’d like to start. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and comfortable taking the next step with me.
