Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rafael. I help adults who find themselves stuck, exhausted, and ready for a change. As a bilingual, first-generation therapist, I offer a warm, culture-informed space for people dealing with anxiety, burnout, or heavy life transitions. Whether you are trapped in overthinking, carrying deep family pressures, or tired of holding everything together on your own, you do not have to do this alone. I offer virtual evening appointments across California from Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, making it easy to focus on therapy once your workday is done. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, you can select an open time on this page to book a free 15-minute consultation.

My approach to therapy

Our work centers on honest conversation and getting to the root of what is really going on. My practice is relational, experiential, and systemic, looking together at the internal pressures, old habits, and cultural or family expectations holding you back. We work side by side to quiet your inner critic, break out of protective walls, and help you regain your footing. In session, we actively process what is keeping you stuck so you can make sense of your experience, trust your agency, and move forward with steady clarity.

What you can expect from me

Taking the step to start therapy can feel like a big move, but you do not have to have it all figured out before we begin. In our work, you can expect an active, warm, and grounded space where you are met with genuine empathy and direct honesty. As a partner and father, I know firsthand the balancing act of managing family life alongside personal responsibilities. My late evening schedule gives you a quiet, dedicated space when the demands of your day are finally behind you. Feel free to select a slot on the calendar here, and let's see if we are a good fit.
