Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience in education including College and high school instruction with 3 years in psychotherapy. Working with people is what I do!

As a mom of three, I understand the stressors life can put on you. The art of balancing the facets of life can be very taxing. Sometimes the things we encounter in life can be hard to go through. My goal is to listen and walk with you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I like to take a multi-faceted approach to therapy. At times, we may use a solution-focused or a cognitive behavioral technique if there is something requiring immediate attention and needs correcting right away. My preference is a more existential approach when addressing depression disorders, those questions like "what is our purpose on Earth?" But, mindfulness and a spiritual approach can also be the conduit for change as well as Christian counseling.

What you can expect from me

Understand the relationship between thoughts-feelings-behavior. Your time with me is not monopolized by my vision for you, this is a partnership. You are encouraged to development your own vision for where you see your life going and together we can collaborate on developing a treatment plan that accomplishes your goals.
