Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician offering culturally sensitive sessions in both English and Spanish. I support individuals who may be facing challenges with communication, feelings of emotional disconnection, or difficulties rooted in family of origin experiences. My goal is to provide a safe and understanding space where your voice is heard and your story honored.

I specialize in supporting women who are navigating life transitions, experiencing anxiety or depression, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you are managing the pressure of career, relationships, motherhood, or personal identity, I offer a space where you can feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow. If you are feeling overwhelmed, the load seems unbearable, or you are unsure of your next steps, and hope that somehow things can change, I’m here to walk alongside you in your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs, integrating holistic, integrative perspectives, and different therapeutic treatments. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify patterns of unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that, at times, are overlooked and are detrimental. CBT is effective for treating a wide range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, stress, and emotional challenges. I provide you with a nonjudgmental environment conducive to self-exploration by applying Person-Centered Therapy with the capacity for growth and self-actualization. When a client struggles with ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation for the behaviors they need to change, Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a practical, empathetic, and short-term process to incorporate in therapy. As a goal in therapy, I practice MI to help resolve ambivalence and help you find your own internal motivation for change. MI is successfully used for substance use, health behaviors, physical health conditions, and medication adherence. Lastly, but not limited to, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), unlike traditional forms of therapy, concentrates on finding solutions in the present and exploring self-hope for the future in order to find a quick and pragmatic resolution.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will take time to get to know what feels most important to you and explore your hopes for therapy. I'll ask about your goals, and together we'll create a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and at your pace. Our sessions will be a collaborative space where we can talk openly, build helpful skills, and gain meaningful insight into your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
