Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience across outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings, providing care for patients of all ages.

I believe that feeling comfortable with your provider is an important part of good mental health care. I strive to create a warm, friendly, and judgment-free environment where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself.

I take the time to get to know you as a person—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. I want to understand what you’re experiencing, what matters to you, and how your mental health fits into the bigger picture of your life. My goal is to build a genuine, trusting relationship where you feel supported and know that your concerns are being taken seriously.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and centered around you. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I want you to understand your options and feel actively involved in decisions about your care. We’ll work together to find a treatment plan that fits your symptoms, goals, preferences, and lifestyle.

When medication is appropriate, I believe in using it thoughtfully and intentionally. My goal is to help you feel your best while using the least amount of medication necessary. I’ll explain the reasoning behind my recommendations, discuss the benefits and potential drawbacks of different options, and make sure you feel comfortable asking questions or sharing concerns. Ultimately, I want you to feel informed, supported, and in control of your treatment.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you and understanding what brings you to care. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, your history, previous treatments, current concerns, and what you hope to get out of treatment—but I also want to understand you beyond your symptoms.

You can expect a relaxed, conversational approach where there is plenty of room to ask questions and share what is important to you. After we’ve had a chance to look at the full picture, I’ll explain my thoughts and walk you through the options I think may be helpful. We’ll decide on the next steps together so that you leave the visit understanding the plan and feeling comfortable with where we’re headed.
