Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience helping people break free from the patterns that keep them stuck. I’ve worked in outpatient and inpatient settings treating depression, anxiety, eating disorders/body image concerns, and trauma.

In many communities of color, the impact of depression, trauma, and emotional or binge eating often goes unspoken—but it’s deeply felt in our families, relationships, and daily lives. I understand these experiences personally and professionally and I specialize in helping other women of color work through cycles of emotional or binge eating and chronic dieting, shame and worthlessness, focus and productivity challenges, and other life stressors. If any of these issues are affecting the way you show up for yourself, your family, in your relationships, or on the job, I want you to know—you don’t have to stay stuck or navigate this alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is very casual, but involves keeping it honest and using proven, evidence-based, tools to help you grow. Faith can be woven in—or not, it's up to you.

In therapy, we’ll unpack the patterns keeping you stuck, challenge the lies holding you back, and align your mindset with truth and wisdom. With insight, accountability, and practical tools, we’ll work together to break cycles, build confidence, and create a life that reflects your values.

What you can expect from me

Our journey begins with a brief consultation and if it's a good fit, we'll schedule our first session where we’ll explore your concerns and begin shaping a personalized plan that aligns with your goals.

In our work together, you can expect to feel truly heard and understood and build practical tools and strategies to improve your life, health, and relationships. Most importantly, you’ll know you have someone in your corner who believes in your strength and ability to bounce back, no matter what life throws your way.

Within the first 4-6 weeks, most clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms. So, ready to lighten the load? Schedule your consultation today. I can not wait to meet you!
