I am a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. I have an extensive personal and professional background in Law Enforcement. This experience informs my passion and dedication to providing effective therapeutic support not only to first responders and their families but to all who have experienced crisis, trauma, or any other emotional, psychological and/or physical event(s) that feel unmanageable or life altering. I am skilled in crisis and trauma intervention and treatment and utilize a personalized, trauma-focused, multidisciplinary approach.

My approach to therapy

My compassionate multidisciplinary approach allows me to tailor treatment methods to each client's unique needs and tolerance levels. I embrace the courage it takes to recognize the need for support and believe a client-centered, collaborative approach is key to a successful outcome. I am skilled in providing an active process and the necessary guidance for clients to reach their own solutions. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, DBT, positive psychology, strengths-based strategies and neuroscience-based psychoeducation and treatment modalities to help clients find personal peace, greater happiness and mental wellness. I also practice Brainspotting and EMDR for greater trauma processing and healing.
