Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rana Renee Robinson, MA, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. I earned dual master’s degrees from Oral Roberts University in Christian Counseling and Christian Ministries, and I’m passionate about providing compassionate, Christ-centered counseling that supports emotional healing, personal growth, and lasting change.

I work with adults and couples seeking support for stress, self-worth, people-pleasing, boundaries, communication struggles, relationship concerns, trauma recovery, and emotional wellness. My approach is warm, grounded, and supportive, creating a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and encouraged without judgment.

My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, attachment-based therapy, person-centered counseling, and Gottman-informed practices for couples and relationship health. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who would like to incorporate their faith and spiritual beliefs into the healing process.

I believe therapy should feel collaborative, personalized, and meaningful. Whether you are navigating anxiety, healing from past experiences, strengthening your relationships, or working toward greater emotional balance, my goal is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, supported, and truly heard without judgment. I strive to create a calm and encouraging environment where individuals and couples can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences while working toward meaningful growth and emotional wellness.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, grief, relationship struggles, self-worth challenges, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop healthier coping patterns, strengthen communication and boundaries, and build greater confidence, balance, and resilience in their everyday lives.

My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, attachment-based therapy, person-centered counseling, and Gottman-informed practices for couples and relationship support. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who would like to incorporate their faith and spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process.

I believe therapy should be personalized to each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether someone is healing from past experiences, navigating a difficult season, or seeking personal growth, I aim to provide practical support, emotional insight, and compassionate guidance that helps clients move forward with greater peace, clarity, and hope.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free. My goal is to create a safe space where you can begin sharing your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you. During our first session, we’ll talk about what has brought you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and the goals you hope to work toward throughout the counseling process.

I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming or unfamiliar, so I strive to make the experience feel calm, collaborative, and encouraging. I take time to get to know you as a person, not just the struggles you may be experiencing. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, stressors, emotional needs, and areas where healing, support, or growth may be needed.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, grief, burnout, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm, my goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported while building practical tools and healthier patterns that promote long-term emotional wellness, healing, and personal growth.
