About Me

Long story short: I can help. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, the impact of past trauma, infidelity, work stress, family issues... my view is the you’re not broken (any more than any other human); you’re going through tough stuff. We’re not always equipped to go through hard times, and that’s okay. I’m here to help you make sense of it all and figure out how to do life and relationships better.

I don’t claim to be any specific “type” of therapist. I use a variety of methods and techniques in my practice and I customize my work to fit your specific circumstances and needs. I also use your strengths and build off of them to tailor your therapy experience specifically to your needs. At the heart of my practice is systemic theory which, in a nutshell, means that you and your struggles are a product of the systems or relationships that you are in and have been In throughout your life. ...But you can work to make shifts in those relationships, and I want to walk throat process with you.

I have a passion for helping others and seeing people heal. We all have a story: joys, sorrows, loves, losses, times of plenty, times of want, crowns, and scars. We also all have the potential to learn from our lives and relationships, and write for ourselves new stories. I believe that by exploring information from our past, from our relationships, from our worldview, and from our strengths... as well as our limitations, we can better understand where we came from, and where we desire to be. This process is not always easy, and change can come with many costs. For as much potential commitment and strain that go into the process of change, growth, and healing, I believe that the benefits far outweigh the cost of continuing on in a story that is not the one we were meant to live.
