My approach to counseling is based upon sound training, professional expertise and personal growth. My goal is to provide experienced and compassionate care, to provide practical and problem specific interventions to assist you in developing the tools needed to achieve your personal and mental health goals. I offer individualized, psychological care to treat depression, marital, anxiety, trauma, self-regulation and behavioral issues. My approach is evidence and strengths based.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in offering you the tools to apply towards coping effectively with your unique struggles. I believe that by offering weekly homework and targeted instruction you will be able to empower yourself towards change. I offer compassion in an accepting environment. An encouragement approach that offers you ways to accept and understand your struggles in a uniquely different manner. I have worked in outpatient settings, private practice and inpatient behavioral health in hospital settings.

I apply Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Existential Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems and an in depth understanding of present focused awareness.
