Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I know finding the right fit in a therapist is important, and that search can feel overwhelming. I am here to help with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, coping skills and processing trauma. I offer unconditional support in helping you explore a more profound self-awareness and a better understanding of your emotions. I utilize a variety of evidence based therapeutic modalities and tools, which I tailor individually for you. We can explore patterns of your thoughts, emotions and behavior, create space for you to practice expressing your true self, and face obstacles to your growth and the goals you set.

My approach to therapy

I have a nonjudgmental, direct and empowering therapeutic style, with an emphasis on strong communication and working together. I strongly believe in every client's inherent value and potential for change and growth. I provide meaningful support in your process of self-discovery and self-acceptance. Depending on your goals in therapy, I share established therapeutic tools for you to incorporate and continue to utilize throughout your life. We can process the past, cultivate self-awareness with less judgement, actively face challenges and explore defeating patterns that are currently keeping you stuck.

What you can expect from me

I provide an open, warm and encouraging space for you to be vulnerable and courageous in sharing your life experience. Throughout your sessions, we can process the impact of the past while being focused on your present concerns. I can work with you on effective communication in relationships, better understanding of family dynamics, and facilitating the healing process of adverse or traumatic experiences. Through the practice of acknowledging and cultivating your strengths, you can learn skills to build a stronger relationship with your whole self, ask important questions of self-awareness, and practice genuine self-compassion.
