Great to meet you!

Welcome.

For over 18 years, I have supported individuals and families in navigating life's challenges while developing greater emotional awareness, resilience, and self-understanding. My experience includes community mental health, integrated behavioral health and primary care as well as crisis services and private practice.

I am deeply passionate about helping people better understand themselves, their emotions, and the patterns that influence their lives. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I specialize in emotional awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, stress management, trauma recovery, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I also have experience supporting individuals navigating cultural, family, and identity-related challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is empathetic, collaborative, and solution-focused. I support clients understand:

  • What their emotions may be communicating.
  • How those emotions connect to symptoms, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships and,
  • How to respond more intentionally and effectively.

Together, we work to:

• Understand emotional patterns and triggers

• Develop emotional awareness and regulation skills

• Build resilience and healthier coping strategies

• Create meaningful change aligned with your values and goals.

I work best with individuals who are open to self-exploration, personal growth, and practicing new ways of responding to life's challenges.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and meaningful change often comes from combining insight, emotional awareness, and intentional action both inside and outside of sessions.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will:

• Discuss what brings you to therapy

• Explore what you hope will be different in your life

• Clarify your expectations about therapy

• Identify what feels most important to address right now

• Discuss goals that are meaningful to you

• Explore your strengths and current coping strategies

Therapy is more than a place to vent.

It is a private, confidential and supportive space to better understand yourself, make sense of your experiences, and explore how your emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and symptoms may be connected.

Together, we will identify what changes you would like to make, what obstacles may be getting in the way, and what skills and strategies can help you move forward in a way that is aligned with your values and goals.
