Great to meet you!

Hello there! I'm Randy Potter, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an eclectic background that helps me collaborate with a diverse range of clients so they may be empowered toward growth and healing. I specialize in working with individuals living with anxiety, ADHD, or low self-worth, and I also have experience working with a broad spectrum of mental & emotional challenges, such as struggles with depression, life transitions, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic approach drawing from various therapeutic modalities, primarily including Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Existentialism. My approach is humanistic and person-centered. The seas of life can get rough! I view each of us as being at the helm of our own ship as we journey through life, and we all need help sailing at times. I approach therapy sessions as an opportunity for me to hop aboard your ship and collaborate with you toward better understanding the waves and winds of your mental and emotional experiences while you develop the coping and processing skills that will empower you to grow, heal, and confidently sail through whatever waves life brings.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be authentic, nonjudgmental, compassionate, curious, and open as we create a safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself, explore what you’re experiencing, and work toward meaningful change. Many clients have expressed that they value my collaborative and engaging approach, which allows us to build a strong therapeutic relationship and tailor an approach specific to each individual's needs.

I aim to really be with you. I want to understand who you are, what you’re going through, and what matters to you. Through our work together, you can develop greater self-awareness, gain insight through psychoeducation, discover new perspectives, and develop practical skills that empower you to navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
