Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in NY who treats depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, adjustments, life-transitions, self-esteem issues, c-dependency, addiction, sexual trauma and men issues. I integrate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, expressive arts and cognitive processing therapy. I graduated from Columbia University, is LIFT (LGBTQ+ Institute for Family Therapy) certified and trained in TF-CBT.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, empathetic, trauma-informed, strength-based, solution-focused, and culturally sensitive. My practice is deeply rooted in social justice and promotes diversity and inclusion as everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. I tailor treatment/sessions to meet each client’s individual needs while also incorporating their cultural and spiritual perspectives in the treatment plans that we create together.

What you can expect from me

I intend to create an atmosphere where you can feel comfortable, heard, validated, and safe. I hold that each person is an expert of their own lives and foster a safe, inclusive, and non-judgement space where you will be able to express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions freely.
