Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m Ranesha Especto, LPC-S, NCC.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m honored you’re considering me to be part of your journey. I believe everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

I earned my Doctorate in Professional Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in outpatient mental health, community behavioral health, university counseling, and long-term care settings.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, burnout, and emotional regulation difficulties. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, processing past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help.

Clients often describe me as compassionate, approachable, and easy to talk to. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing, and I strive to create an environment where you feel respected, supported, and comfortable being yourself.

Whether this is your first experience with therapy or you’re returning for additional support, I look forward to helping you move toward healing, growth, and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I use evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what’s important to you, and determine whether we’re a good fit. My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and develop a personalized plan to help you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
