Dr. Ranjan Avasthi

Hi there!

I am a Georgia native and have been working in mental health for the last 20 years. I completed my training at UGA, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Medical College of GA. For the last 8 years, I have served as one of the state delegates for the Georgia Council of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. My goal is to serve people and families in our great state. I recognize that each person is an individual with their own story to share and I want to provide a safe space for people to heal. Mental health encompasses our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It is my mission to explore these aspects and help restore balance and harmony to the lives of my patients.

I work in collaboration with the patient and their families to evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health issues by providing therapy and medication management.

Our first session will include learning all about you. With an extensive history taking and hearing about your experiences, we will work together to complete a diagnostic evaluation and create a tailored treatment plan to help you become your best self.
