A bit about my approach to therapy

She has extensive experience with trauma focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and has been a board certified Licensed Clinical Professional counselor for over 6 years. Her treatment approach is rooted in evidence based practices that focus on the mind-body connection.She also worked at Johns Hopkins where she established her cognitive behavior techniques that has been a crucial part of her practice and her patients' success and progress.

What you can expect from our first session

Her main goals for her patients include offering skills and strategies to process emotions, decrease stress and develop healthy coping skills. She believes that in her practice, her patients can discover new ways of looking at things. She has a unique view and experience with CBT that results in improvements in emotional regulation.
